For a relatively small investment, the effectiveness of a site can be improved by English that is clear, correct and appealing.

The Home page of websites should communicate concisely and work logically.

When someone clicks on your site they want to understand:
  1. What you do - this within the first few seconds.
  2. The essence of your approach - what makes you different from others in your sphere of activity.
  3. The price of your goods or services - and how to contact you or place an order.
  4. Where to click to get more information - either on your site or via external links.

My preferred way of working is:
  1. To establish that you want to improve your website.
  2. Listen well to ensure I can help you meet your aims.
  3. Discuss your aims, including how best to utilise the structure of your site.
  4. Draft the wording and send it to you by email.
  5. You respond with corrections and further thoughts.
  6. We meet to refine the work.
  7. Rewrite and finalise.

My terms are flexible and reasonable - generally charged by the day.
I will focus on delivering the message you want to get across, in the best way I know.
